Dr. Samuel Chado

Dr. Chado was born and raised in Frederick, Maryland. He performed his undergraduate studies at University of Pittsburgh and received his doctorate of optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Chado did clinical externships with emphasis in ocular disease at Clayton Eye Center in Morrow, GA, Swagel Wootton Hiatt Eye Center in Mesa, AZ, and The Eye Center at Southern College of Optometry.

Dr. Chado has received extensive clinical training in all areas of optometry including primary care, pediatrics, ocular emergencies, red eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, retinal disease, pre/post operative care of surgical patients, LASIK/refractive surgery evaluations, and specialty contact lens fits including medically necessary contact lenses. Dr. Chado speaks both english and Spanish and is happy to see Spanish speaking patients as well as patients of all ages.

Dr. Chado is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association. Dr. Chado is also a provider for InfantSee, a national program which offers free eye exams to children in their first year of life in order to provide early detection of congenital problems which could be developmentally delaying or life threatening.
